Halff Named Design Firm of the Year by City of Bentonville
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Halff was selected as the 2025 Design Firm of the Year by the City of Bentonville for the second year in a row. Halff is recognized for its work on the Bright Road Tunnel and the Walnut Grove Subdivision.
This award is given annually to recognize a firm that has provided an outstanding project from initial design through final acceptance.
The Highway 102 Pedestrian Tunnel project, also referred to as the Bright Road Tunnel, in Bentonville, Arkansas, addressed critical pedestrian safety and connectivity needs due to sustained residential growth, increased highway traffic and rising demand for biking. Clear lighting and well-lit pathways make it easier for users to cross Highway 102 without crossing multiple lanes of traffic. It also allows for easy access to the newly built adjacent apartment complex.
The Walnut Grove Subdivision consisted of civil master planning services for the design and construction of a residential subdivision, adding 232 residential lots and an adjacent collector roadway. The total project area was 58.7 acres including associated subdivision roadway design, storm sewer design, detention/retention design, lot grading, water and wastewater systems and collector roadway design.
